Central Library
Library Rules &
Regulations
The
library is heart of institute. The libraries are the centers of information,
knowledge and exchange ideas. A Library is an organization which identifies,
selects, collects , process, stores and disseminates information at the right
time to the right person. The Library is primarily meant for bonafite students,
faculty & members of the staff of Khurana Sawant Institute of Engineering
& Technology, Hingoli.
I. LIBRARY TIMINGS:
Monday – Saturdays 9:50
am to 05.20 pm
& Holidays
Library will remain
CLOSED on:
26th January (Republic
Day),
15th August (Independence
Day),
02nd October (Mahatma
Gandhi’s Birthday),
Holi, Dussehra, Diwali
(Deepawali) and
25th December (Christmas Day)
Circulation Timings
(Issue/Return) 9.50 am to 5.30
pm
(Monday - Saturdays )
II. MEMBERSHIP:
1. Permanent Member: All
permanent staff members of KSIET, HINGOLI
2. Temporary Member: All
temporary/contractual staff member of KSIET, HINGOLI
Research ,scholars and Students, external
faculty like visiting Faculty etc.
Borrower’s card issued to
the members shall be maintained in the Library. The member has to fill the
entry on every transaction.

General Rules:
1 Library
membership forms / borrowers ticket will be issued to the students only after
presenting admission receipt.
2 Students will not be entertained in the
library without institute – I Card.
3 Library will remain open from 09:50 am
to 05:30 pm.
4 Book transaction timing is forms
09:55am to 05:30 pm
5 Textbooks will be issued for 7day
& reference books for 1 day only.
6 A fine of Rs. 05/- per day will be
charged for books returned late.
7 In case
book is lost / damaged student will have to pay the amount the price of the
book
8 Silence should be maintained in the
library
9 All readers are required to maintain
discipline in the library
10 Switch off Mobile phones or to keep on
silent mode in the Library premises

. All the students
shall sign in the gate register at the entrance of the Library.
Books
issue rules
All the
students can obtain their library borrowing tickets on production of ID card
issued by the college. The number of borrowing tickets issued to the students
is as follows
